RDigital is a digital advisory and operating firm built on over 15 years of experience across brands, SaaS platforms, and agencies. We bring a rare, three-sided perspective to digital - understanding how brands operate at scale, how technology is built and sold, and how agencies execute across the ecosystem.

Founder
RDigital was founded in early 2026 by Ben Jata, a strategic operator with 15+ years of experience building, scaling, and transforming digital operations for some of the world's most recognized brands.
Ben's career began in data and content - analyzing live soccer matches for Stats Perform (Opta), managing social media accounts, and writing 300+ articles for Major League Soccer. Those early years taught him how to find insights in data, communicate clearly, and build engagement at scale.
He moved into hands-on ecommerce, retail and B2B operations at Upper 90 & Soccer Post, where he managed three Magento sites, complex inventory management process, and a true omnichannel / loyalty experience from the ground up. He also worked extensively on product catalog optimizations, UI / UX improvements, merchandising and customer experience - generating additional revenue while achieving some of the highest customer satisfaction scores in the industry. It was here that Ben learned the operational discipline that would define his approach: test everything, measure what matters, and never stop optimizing.
From there, Ben led digital and IT for his second omnichannel holding company at TGS Holdings (streetwear and lifestyle brands - including Extra Butter), where he led technology and operations for four Shopify storefronts, five retail locations, a Netsuite backend / POS, and a 30,000 square foot warehouse - before joining Authentic Brands Group in 2021.
Building at Scale: Authentic Brands Group
At ABG, Ben spent five years leading digital operations for one of the world's largest brand management companies, ultimately serving as Global Vice President of Digital Ops. This is where he learned to operate at enterprise scale.
ABG's business model is built on acquiring iconic brands and licensing them to operators worldwide. Ben's role was to oversee the digital side of all acquisitions, new launches, bankruptcies and terminations - which meant managing the full lifecycle of migrations, from strategy through technical transitions, platform launches, and ongoing optimization.
He led digital transitions and change management for Reebok, Champion, TedBaker, and Sports Illustrated, Boardriders, Hunter, Sperry, Dockers, and Juicy Couture, and dozens of other brands. That meant working cross-functionally with internal and external teams across legal, trademark, finance, brand management, biz dev, marketing, creative, and technology - leading them, informing them, and maintaining alignment through complex, high-value transitions.
It also meant working with more than 1,000 licensees globally - operators running ecommerce sites, retail stores, and digital channels in markets around the world. Ben became the bridge between ABG's strategic digital vision and the practical realities of execution on the ground.
During his time at ABG, Ben worked on 350+ websites and managed a large domain portfolio. He led major digital transitions and launches for several brands, including Reebok, Champion, Ted Baker, and SI.com. He was a key stakeholder in the replatforming of Juicycouture.com to Shopify / Cymbio, as well as launching the brand's mobile app in partnership with Tapcart. He built sites like Neilleifer.com in four weeks when speed mattered, orchestrating sales results quicker than expected.
But one of his most significant contributions was building the Marketplace division from the ground up - establishing the infrastructure, operations, and strategic partnerships that would become a core pillar of the company's digital business. He became the key stakeholder in this process, restructuring how brands showed up on the platform. He managed backend account operations, led brand / licensee transitions across multiple departments, optimized storefronts and advertising, handled brand registry, and worked closely with licensees to grow their presence while protecting brand integrity.
The work required balancing competing priorities - speed vs. quality, global consistency vs. local flexibility, brand control vs. licensee autonomy. It required extensive analysis, communication, operational excellence and decision-making with incomplete information. It was messy, tedious, high-pressure, and constantly evolving. And it taught Ben how enterprise brands really think about digital transformation - not as a one-time project, but as an ongoing process of adaptation, optimization, and strategic decision-making under constraints.

RDigital was founded on a simple belief: the strategic thinking, operational discipline, and execution frameworks that work at enterprise scale can - and should - be accessible to businesses of all sizes.
Ben has built divisions from scratch, managed cross-functional teams, worked with thousands of partners and licensees around the globe, negotiated strategic partnerships, launched hundreds of websites, and led the digital operations arm for multi=billion-dollar brand acquisitions. He's done the hands-on work of rebuilding product catalogs and optimizing customer service, and he's operated at the executive level setting strategy for global portfolios.
